Relocated Silo, Foundation Design, and Permit Support
Relocated Silo, Foundation Design, and Permit Support: ZAP performed NFPA study to determine the appropriate location of the relocated silo with respect to the deflagration vents located on it and an existing adjacent silo. The silo is part of a sawdust collection system to expand operations of a cabinet manufacturer. ZAP provided the client with mechanical and structural engineering to locate and design the silo foundation. ZAP also provided assistance for the foundation permit and securing contractor bids for the customer.
